A struggle rarely exists in only one part of life.

A child's behavior may be connected to school stress, family change, attention difficulties, or feelings they cannot explain. An adult's anxiety or depression may be shaped by relationships, work, grief, trauma, and the pressure to keep functioning. Treating only the visible symptom can miss the larger story.

Mackenzie's social work background helps her understand clients in the context of their relationships, environments, and life experiences. She brings curiosity and compassion to the whole picture while helping clients identify the changes that are within reach.

Whole person care with practical direction

Mackenzie uses a person-centered, trauma-informed, and attachment aware approach. She also draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills, narrative therapy, schema work, and psychodynamic insight to help clients understand patterns and practice healthier responses.

Her previous work in community mental health gave her experience with a wide range of concerns and socioeconomic backgrounds. That experience helps her meet clients without judgment, adapt to different needs, and remain grounded when life feels complicated.
