In his poem, “Messy Room” Shel Silverstein helps us see a room where everything is out of place - the sweater is on the floor, the pants are on the door, the vest has been left in the hall and the old sock is stuck to the wall. Interestingly enough, the same character that made these initial observations begins to recognize everything in the room as his own. Indeed, this is his room and his mess.
Much like this room, life can be messy but it does not have to stay that way. With a client-centered, strength-based, solution-focused approach, we will discover new insights that help promote positive change and forward momentum for the next step of your journey.

I have worked in the helping profession for 20+ years and joined the Stillwaters Team in 2024 as a P-LPC. For fun I enjoy being out on the water, playing tennis, and reading a good book. I reside with my wife in Madison where we spend a substantial amount of time running our 3 children to ballet, tennis, and piano.
